The Family that Prays Together Stays Together…………

A peaceful family can be built up only on the pillars of love and prayer.

Unity is an important factor that determines the victory of a team. The family is basically a team that comprises of a father, mother, and children. The peace and happiness in a family can greatly contribute to the character formation of the children and the prosperity of the family. In short, the development of a family largely rests on the unity and love of its members. If such values have to be maintained and the problems arising in family rounds have to be solved, all the family members should approach life in a prayerful mood.

George Washington and 55 of his companions met in council to discuss the future of America. Suddenly Franklin, who was then quite old, stood up and said, Gentlemen, let us pray. I am pretty well along in years and the longer live in, the more I see the mens affairs are controlled by God. If a sparrow doesnt fly off the roof without his sovereign will, could a country progress without his help.
Prayer is the most important thing in my life.

If I should neglect prayer for a single day, I should lose a great deal of the fire of faith

-Martin Luther

***************

What time do you give the Divine? Usually you give the time that is left over, when you have nothing else to do, when no quests are coming, there are no parties to attend, no nice movies to watch, no weddings in which to participate. Such time you give freely but this is not quality time. Give quality time to the Divine; it will be rewarded. If your prayers are not answered, it is because you have never given quality time. Give family prayer your highest priority.
