To inspire, ignite, illumine, divinize, and instigate

Solving your Problems…………….

Every problem can be solved if you pray.

It is a fact demonstrated so often as to be a sure thing–that every problem can be solved if you pray. Experts in physical health and well-being, such as coaches, physical education teachers, and health directors, often utilise prayer in their work.  People are doing more praying today than formerly because they find that it adds to personal efficiency. Prayer helps them to tap forces and to utilise strength not otherwise available.

It is important to realise that you are dealing with the most tremendous power in the world when you pray. You would not use an old-fastioned oil lamp for illumination. You want the most up-to-date lighting devices. New and fresh spiritual techniques are being constantly discovered by men and women of spiritual genius. It is advisable to experiment with prayer power according to such methods as prove sound and effective. If this sounds new and strangely scientific, bear in mind that the secret of prayer is to find the process that will most effectively open your mind humbly to God. Any method through which you can stimulate the power of God to flow into your mind is legitimate and usable.

To assure something worth while happening, first pray about it and test it according to God’s will; then print a picture of it on your mind as happening, holding the picture firmly in consciousness. Continue to surrender the picture to God’s will–that is to say, put the matter in God’s hands–and follow God’s guidance. Work hard and intelligently thus doing your part to achieve success in the matter. Practise believing and continue to hold the picturisation firmly in your thoughts. Do this and you will be astonished at the strange ways in which the picturisation comes to pass. In this manner the picture “actualises.” That which you have “prayerised”and “picturised” “actualises” according to the pattern of your basic realisable wish when conditioned by invoking God’s power upon it, and if, moreoever, you give fully of yourself to its realisation.

Surrender……….

You can trust the man who died for you – Lettie Cowman

Surrender is a technique in which you can dump all the garbage of the mind. What else is there with you to surrender? Divine does not want your talents and you cannot surrender those because that is a gift to you. Certainly divine does not want your money, and if you think you have power, you are mistaken. You have no power at all in this world. And nobody wants to give any power at all and you think you have power. You have feeling of loosing control and you have no control. No control of thoughts running in your mind, all good thoughts, bad thoughts and who is interested in this? Do you see what I’m saying? So  surrender means what? Drop all that negativity. The worries that we carry in our heart, we surrender to God, and be happy. It is only then we gain power

—Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

God does not always choose great people to accomplish what he wishes,

but He chooses a person who is wholly yielded to Him. –Henrietta C. Mears.

Trust God for great things; with your five loaves and two fishes,

He will show you a way to feed thousands – Horace Bushnell

Change the Channel…….

We all know how to use the remote control to change the channels on the TV. If we see something we don’t like, no big deal–we just flip channels. We need to learn how  to mentally change channels when negative images of the past pop up in our minds unexpectedly. Unfortunately, when some people see those negative experiences on their minds’ “screens,” instead of quickly changing channels, they pull up a chair and get some popcorn, as though they’re going to watch a good movie.  They willingly allow themselves to relive all those hurts and pains. Then they wonder why they are depressed, upset, or discouraged.

Learn to change the channels. Don’t let your mind or your emotions drag you down into despair. Instead, dwell on the good things God has done in your life.
